Oh, what a beautiful brand January Labs is! I heard about this lovely brand on Instagram through numerous beauty bloggers, but mostly from the Queen Goddess of Skincare herself, Caroline Hirons. She has raved & recently favorited January Lab’s Restorative Tonic Mist (you can see it in her Fave Fives video here ) & with good purpose.
This absolutely fantastic mist, which is packed with: water, organic aloe vera, witch hazel, rosa extract, pro-vitamin b5, licorice extract, lime oil, horse chestnut extract to name a few…is so revitalizing, gentle on the skin, and really starts improving it the minute you spritz it on.
I’ve intermingled these products within the last month with other brands & these really stand out overtime amongst the bigger names. All of these are truly beautiful products, I haven’t a bad word to say about any of them; they all really worked out wonderfully with my skin & I truly do believe all of these products are great for all skin types, but if I had to pick a favorite (besides the Tonic Mist) it would have to be the Retexturing Night Cream.
My favorite acid takes its proper position in this night cream, Lactic. I absolutely love Lactic Acid, its one of the gentlest of all the acids and has really done wonders for my skin in the last year. I usually top off this night cream with a face oil, and upon morning my face is so soft & smooth; its also really helped keep my skin continously clear.
I enjoy using the Revitalizing Day Cream on mornings where I’m not wearing makeup and giving my skin a break. I let this cream do its magic and throughout the day my skin stays hydrated, plumped, and healthy. I’ve enjoyed using the Moisture Balancing Lotion during these hot summer days under makeup, because it does seem to actually help balance out any minimal oiliness that I tend to always get during this time of year in my t-zone areas. Its light, comfortable, and nourishing to wear.
The Pure & Gentle Cleansing Gel is your basic, run-of-the-mill cleansing gel, except for me, it really isn’t. Normally cleansing gels dry out my skin terribly and create flakiness, but this one doesn’t leave my skin looking a wreck! What a relief, this is honestly the one time I can ever think of when a cleansing gel has actually been in my favor. Even though cleansers don’t stay on the skin for very long, I really do think the ingredients in this cleansing gel have everything to do with not drying out my skin. This is great for morning/second cleanse use; though on JL’s website it states that you can remove makeup with this, thats something I haven’t tried as of this post.
To shop all the products mentioned in this post, you can visit January Lab‘s official website here, where they also have a few other wonderful products that I’d love to get my hands on soon!
